This is way overdue, like most of our posts tend to be, but we wanted to get some photos up from my mom’s week here in Texas. A usual, we had a great time having her here with us. Having an extra set of hands around all day, every day, is priceless these days!

With out power out from last week’s snow storm, we made a mad dash for Mardi Gras in Shreveport and for a warm place for Maya to stay. We had planned to try to make a parade anyway, but it couldn’t have been timed any better considering we ended up being without power all weekend. [...]

As is the trend, our little lady is growing. In fact, she’s as tall as a 6-month-old, says our doctor. We took Maya in for her 4-month checkup last week. Here are her new stats:
Height: 25 inches
Weight: 15 lbs, 8 oz
