Jason~~your mom would be so proud of the man you have become…and she would absolutly delight in your becoming a father! There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think of her. I miss her too.

Maya (and Ford too) will always know their Grandmother Patsy because they will know you and your brother. You are both so much like her; I see her in both of you in so many ways. Like her, you bring joy to many. She loved you very much.

It was great having you (and Mom and Dad too) in Shreveport. I’m so glad I could provide you with a nice warm place to stay since it was so cold at your house.

And wasn’t the parade fun. Your very first Mardi Gras and so glad I could celebrate it with you. Next year I promise we’ll even catch more beads and maybe even some stuffed animals. They just love to throw to cute little girls.

I love you Maya. Can’t wait to see you again real soon.

Hi Maya,

I love all your new photos especially the one with me holding you. Actually, the one with your Mom holding you is great. You’re beginning to look more and more like her.

Sounds like the new routine is working out for you and your Mom and Dad. Know they are so happy being able to keep you home and I am too. And sounds like you have a terrific new baby sitter. I’m sure you are having fun.

And your Daddy tells me you may be making a trip over to Shreveport soon. Did he tell you that you might be able to see your first Mardi Gras parade. Hope it works out. You will be a great draw for plenty of beads.
