We got to take Maya to her first Parade of Lights in Fort Worth the Friday evening after Thanksgiving. Grandad was able to stay in town until Saturday morning, so he was able to join us. It was a chilly night, but we bundled up and she didn’t seem to mind the cold. She is part Minnesotan, after all. We only stayed for the first half-hour or so, but that was enough for her to get a taste of the pretty lights and enjoy being around all the people. She seemed kind of interested in the lights, which is about all we cold expect from our 1-year-old!
