We had to cancel Maya’s first birthday party for an unexpected trip out of town, but we didn’t want her to miss out on her special treats. I had already bought everything to make the Elmo cake pops for her party, so this weekend I went ahead and made them for her anyway. And she loved them! She started pointing at them as soon as we brought them out and dug in as soon as we gave her one. They were much more of a hit than the cupcake we gave her on her actual birthday. I’ll be excited to make something else like it for her big day next year! I think kids like anything on a stick! (A special thanks to our friend Carla for pointing us to Bakerella’s site. We will be using it often, I suspect!)

Kari, love Maya's Elmo cake pops and looks like Maya loved them too. Very creative….
Do you think you could design a Horned Frog cake pop? I would like to order a 1000 and need them by TCU's BCS Bowl Game. Think this would be a great way to fund Maya's TCU tuition!! Just let me know when you have them ready.
By the way…. I will need Maya in her TCU outfit to help me with the sales. She and the pops guarantee success.
Go Frogs!!!
What a great idea! Not too many people do homemade things anymore…..and they are the BEST!
I'm proud of you!!!
Kari- they turned out so cute! Glad she enjoyed them!
