We just got back from a wonderful week at the beach in South Carolina (more on that later) and while I was looking at all of our photos I realized we never posted anything about our Fourth of July weekend in Shreveport. We decided to make the trek east again, for some more pool time and a BBQ with Jason’s family. We had a great time swimming and the BBQ at Trey, Erin, Camryn and Caroline’s house was so much fun. Glad we got to spend the holiday with everyone. The Bergerets have a beautiful house and had a great setup in their back yard for the kids, with a huge playground and a water slide that I’m sure Maya was feeling bad she couldn’t go on. Maybe next year! (And a special thanks to Camryn for picking a cute July Fourth swimsuit out for Maya!)
We also got a free date night out of the trip, thanks to Grandad staying home with Maya after she went to bed one night. We’re always grateful for a night away with each other!
