Mother’s Day

Thanks to Jason and Maya for making this a great Mother’s Day. Maya kicked off the day be sleeping in an extra hour and 15 minutes, so that was the best present I could have asked for! (Especially after working election night the day before.) After a nice morning lounging around at home we headed to my favorite brunch spot, Esperanza’s, with our friends Scott, Julie and Jack. Glad we could spend part of the day with them.

We spent the afternoon at home playing, and then the entire family took an hour nap! That never happens! Then it was Bailey’s turn for some fun, so we all headed to the dog park. Maya likes watching all the pups run around, too.

Missed being able to spend the day with my wonderful mom, but hopefully she’ll get down here soon for another visit with Maya!

The beautiful photos in this slide show are thanks to our wonderful friend Amy who took some family photos for us at the botanic gardens last weekend.

Thanks so much for sharing your family photos. They are great....Maya is such a doll and of course, Mom and Dad certainly add to the shots too.

Be sure to thank your friend Amy from all of Maya's fans. It's great to be able to see how much Maya is changing...she is growing up for sure and I just love her expressions. Can't wait to give her a big hug. Give her one for me.

    Love y'all...
