A taste of fall

After a very rainy October, we’ve been loving the last week or so of sunshine and highs in the 70s. We’ve been out for walks, meeting Dad for lunch at a downtown park and today, spending some quality time at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens.

It was a great day for a walk, and it’s a beautiful time of year. The leaves are turning yellow and red and orange. The sun is shining. And amazingly, the roses and most everything else at the garden is in full bloom.

We also got to try out the Baby Bjorn baby carrier. Needed to get in a little practice before taking her out for ESPN College Gameday on Saturday, when they come to TCU for the huge game against Utah.
