I’m still a little sore from the weekend. Kari and I figure that my Dad and I were on our feet for all but about 10 hours on Saturday and Sunday working on the baby’s nursery. We filled in some pretty hideous cracks, filled in a hole left by an old speaker we pulled out of the wall, and put on two coats of paint. Not to mention the nice additions we made to our garden — three knockout roses — and the other potted plants we’re going to try really hard not to kill.
A big thanks to my Dad for all the help. We are now a lot further along than we expected to be, and we’re looking forward to getting the baby’s furniture put together and the room decorated.

Your little girl will certainly be impressed. She will be surely asking…”now just which one of you was the slave driver.” We will just let her guess.
I loved being part of the “Extreme Makeover.” And now Kari can do her wonders with decorating.
Love y’all,
Grandad Jeff
(and roses will be blooming in September)
