Kari and I spent more time at Babies R Us today than I thought I ever would. Funny how things change.
We were there registering for all our baby stuff. We had done some research (ok, Kari had done some research), but it’s hard to decide on things online or by reading in books. So, armed with the latest Baby Bargains book, we shopped. And shopped. And shopped. Seriously. We could hardly stand by the end of it we were there so long.
But, it’s done, we hope, although we’ll probably need to go back once we figure a few other things out. Some decisions are tough to make when the baby’s not due for another four months.
So, if you’re in the market for something for the baby (not that we’re asking, but we know some of you may be looking) feel free to check out the baby’s registry.
But really, the point of all this was to say that the baby is starting to kick a little harder. Hard enough for me to feel her every once in a while. So amazing, and I’m excited to be able to start feeling her kicks more regularly.

Kari, I hear your little one is starting her “kicking.” The trick now is to get her into the same sleep routine you have so she doesn’t keep you awake all night.
And Son, just get used to the shopping trips. With two gals in the house you will certainly become a “pro” at it.
